Did all A series Sea Dwellers have only "Swiss" on the dial?

Just curious about this. I saw an A serial for sale that had "Swiss Made" on the dial. Either the seller has the serial wrong, or only a certain portion of the A serials have "Swiss" only. Can someone chime in?

A XXXXXX case stamp is from around November 1998 till end December 1999 and they used Swiss Made from late 1998 till very early 2000, after that to present day just plain Swiss .So yes there should be quite a few A SDs with the Swiss made dial.

Quite a few possible explanations; First, the serial number guide is just a reference to give us a general idea of when the watch was made, it certainly does not guarantee when a watch was produced. Second, the SD did not sell as fast as its Sub counterpart, so it is certainly possible that "Swiss Made" dial is on an "A" serial. Finally, if it was an early "A" serial, it could have had a tritium dial that has already been replaced during service.
