Icon2 Manual-wind Panerai ticking loudness

Question for you TRF members who own a Panerai Luminor with a manual wind (Unitas based) movement:

Can you quite clearly hear the ticking sound if you're in a quiet room or in the car with the windows up?

I own another much less expensive watch with a 6497 movement that I cannot stand to wear because the ticking is so loud and annoys the f*** out of me.

(Yes, I am aware the 6497 was originally a pocket watch movement.) :

I have to put my ear right up to my Submariner or Sea-Dweller to hear it ticking.

Call me crazy, but I prefer the quiet. :)

It is loud on a 292 - but part of the character IMO.

Slightly louder than my rolex, but I have to put it near my ear to hear it.
