Help me choose between these 2!!!
I'm going to go with the Air King for the wife as the face is smaller than 36mm but larger than the midsize (and it's priced less).
Do I go with the Air King Precision with Black Dial (sticks all around the dial for the markers)? OR Do I go with the Air King Precision with Blue Dial (marked with the "3", "6", "9", and the sticks in between are a little shorter and thicker)? I keep going back and forth between the two. The Black Dial seems more classic, but also more masculine; while the Blue Dial seems a little less formal and would look great on a woman. Thoughts??? |

Hi and welcome to TRF.
I'd personally go with the BLUE dial and Arabics (3, 6, 9) for a lady. Good luck - JJ

I'd go with the Blue. However I saw the pink/salmon AK yesterday for the first time. She would like that more likely.

Of the two you mentioned, I'd go with the blue...but the salmon dial makes for an even more elegant ladies watch.

Nice pic!
Well... I was actually able to find the Air King with just stick markers with the Blue Dial and smooth bezel. This to me was the best of both worlds -- I like the classic look of the stick markers in combination with the blue dial. I didn't realize that everyone on this forum wood unanimously agree on the arabic dial :( I'll take the advice from the poster a few messages above about "it's a rolex and you can't go wrong" In my quest for this particular watch (Air King, Blue Dial, Stick Markers) -- one store got back to me and said this particular model is discontinued, and that is why it's difficult to find. 1) Is this true? 2) Does it matter? As you can see, I'm indecisive to begin with -- and now I just found out that the watch has been discontinued. Anyone know if this is possible and what the implications are? Watch arrives tomorrow!! |
