Screw down crown - is this normal?
I notice that when my DJ is screwed just tight, the Rolex symbol on the crown faces straight down. Is this normal. I am not worried just wondering since Rolex pay attention to little things like this.

that is the one of the few things rolex does not pay attention to. It doesnt matter what direction the crown is your watch is just fine

Yup. It varies on each watch. Mine is about 30 degrees off of straight upright. Some are straight down like yours. Etc.

It is not normal or abnormal. It's just the way yours lines up. I have one that lines up that way and others that don't.

I'd blame Larry's perfect pics for all this worry.
Ever notice how Tools' watches always have their crowns upright? When I was new to the forum, it made me think mine were defective!

Don't sweat it, crowns are all over the place except when they're posing for pics!
