So do you have any plans of surprising them?

Nah lol I'll just pretend to be surprised so they will be more complacent with what they've done. After all it's still 5 weeks away and things might change.

Bought my first one at 27 years old, a Daytona 116523 TT, I purchase them with my hard earned cash, blood, sweat and tears, makes the watch much more treasured for me!

Cash, blood, sweat and tears make for a fine Rolex indeed.

Might've been a fake lol. I'm not sure any parents in the right mind would make a young kid wear one due to various reasons such as safety issues

When I was 18 I had a Timex Camper and was in the Marine Corps a Rolex was just a distant unattainable dream.

When I was young I always associated Rolex with old men (young and dumb I guess) I did not even know the sports models existed I had only ever seen the more dressy all gold DD or DJ's and that's not my kind of watch. It was not until I was well into my 30's that I started to think about looking at Rolex.

I went into an AD saw the Explorer I and I had to have it. I was 38.

When my father died in the mid-90's I got some money and for a second I thought mmmmm, I can buy a Rolex but I never did. Funny, if I had I probably would have bought the watch I bought last week the GMT Pepsi!

17. I mowed lawns for two summers to buy my Explorer II. Then when I graduated high school I flipped it for my Sea Dweller. I'm now 20 and I still have the SD.
