Have you talked to them and requested that they fix these issues?

I did speak to them, but at this point I just prefer not to deal with them any further. When I first spoke to NYC about my bezel insert, they told me to have my eyes checked basically. Enough excuses...take business elsewhere...know what I mean? Their quality control is lacking based upon 2 services I just had and I don't enjoy all the back and forth. Just do it right the first time. Hopefully Dallas is lower on haughty attitude and higher on quality control in their finished work. And free cleaning cloths or green pouches don't make up for the hassle.

It really sucks big time when a crappy service is provided on an expensive item. To be honest, I dont even feel comfortable handing over my rolex to the RSC, because I really dont know how they handle them...unless I am desperate on service.

IMHO RSC expertise is the way to go except for the plexi vintages.

Only problem I can see is when they give you the attitude unbefitting a company that thrives on reputation.

I'm not sure about that...I checked that place out and it seems like it's just a watch dude. He may be good & all, but not a Rolex Service Center, unless that's recently changed, which would be a great thing.

There are a few independent, but licensed thru Rolex service ctrs. left in the USA....San Francisco has one, maybe the Chicago one's an indie licensee?

Yes, it is an RSC although independently owned. I've used them several times in the past with satisfactory results.

I hope all the TRF'ers that have a negative experience w/ the corporate Rolex ctrs. send a letter, a USPS letter to Rolex NYC & complain bitterly. Rolex is not a cheap watch & it's corporate service ctrs. should be top notch.
