Have an ExplorerII, love it and works well on my smaller wrist. I tried on the sub-c and it looks bulky and heavy on my wrist. Can anyone advise on other watches such as milgauss, YM or others? If possible please post pics of your selection on your wrist. Many thanks

I have 6.5 inch wrists, and the watches in my signature fit me well.

The problem I have is that the clasp does not center very well because of my wrist size. Options for small wrists are:
1) live with an un-centered clasp
2) flip the clasp around and make the necessary link adjustments that way.

The milgauss wears big. It might be a problem with your smaller wrists if you are worried about a watch looking too big. The dial on it is bigger and it has some extra heft due to the double casing.

Daytona, GMT 16710 and GMT2C 116710 are all OK but any 36MM Rolex is better.

The Explorer II is the perfect watch. Concur with choices of Watchyou, but would like to add the Sub LV (not the new one). A used Airking at 34mm is probably the best deal of all the sport watches for price to performance.

My wrists measure around 6.5". My 16710 fits well with a centered clasp.

I keep enough space to fit two fingers below the bracelet.

Try the 16610 pre-ceramic Sub. You might find it comfortable. I have a small
wrists and the clasp is centered.

For man, I suggest Milgauss or explor-1 which has 2 sizes for option, one is 36MM case,another is 40mm size. For woman, I recommed Datejust with flower dial,very suitable for a elegant lady.

I have a 6.75" wrist...all my Rolexes/Tudors fit fine......from 36mm datejust & explorer....39.5 mm 1655 ex.2.....40mm Tudor sub & Rolex sub.

36mm or 39mm Explorer. Mine is 36 and it fits perfectly (6.5 in wrist). I have a 39mm TAG that fits well, too. Anywhere from 40mm to 36mm should be fine. The new subs only look bigger because of the lugs, but the case is still 40mm.

i probably have the smallest wrist size out of the guys here, 6 inches. however, i totally think the 40mm size is fine. the bracelet is a pain to deal with because the clasp will never be centered without modification. i took all my watches to the sf service center and asked giovanni to take a permanent link off. then the watch fits perfectly. i actually do this to all of my watches except the gmt2c. why? i guess rolex is starting to realize that people with small wrists are wearing their watches, and thus fixed it on the newer bracelets.

6.5" isn't a small wrist, IMO. It's really a pretty typical size. If you are happy with an EXP II on your wrist, you should like the look of the ND Sub, too. It wears just a little larger than an EXP II.

The ceramic versions do appear to wear larger (maybe a little louder, in a nice way) than an EXP. The Daytona has about the same look an the wrist.

I judt traded my GMTII with SEL for a GMT without SEL and it looks way better on my (also small) wrists...

I have a 6inch wrist and all watches under 44mm are wearable for me, even though I can wear my dads Iwc Doppel Top Gun. I have a small wrist because I'm only 12 years old.

Also, it is Rolex's way to expand their market by selling more sport watches to women who see female celebs in People Magazine and such wearing them.

I agree. IMO it´s the only way to find the right one. A 40mm GV wears different from a GMTC or a Sub.
