1971 Rolex Red Submariner

Hello, offshore at the moment and a work colleague owns the above watch. Just curious wahat its value would be? Uk pounds pref. It was serviced last year by Rolex and new bracelet / bezel. They also returned to him all the parts they replaced. There is a 1967 one on ebay which i have put up on watch out section as interested weather real etc and if so if the price is good. Seems very cheap to me!
Thanks in advance for your input.

Without detailed photos of the actual watch in question it's very hard to give a good estimate. Factors such as dial/hands condition, case, lugs, etc...all play a role.

For the sake of SWAGING it let's say 8kUSD and go up or down depending.

That it carries Rolex paperwork and has it's original parts is a big plus, but without pics....

I would put a 71 era piece in the catagory of FEET first, but the serial number is a much better indicator.
