JJ,

I have small wrists (6 1/2). I tried the GMT and Expy II. Both of them were heavy and sweaty (in hot weather). Bottom line...uncomfortable. Then, Steve M. hooked me up with a sweet Tudor Mid-Size Submariner (model 75090). Wow....the comfort of it!

Of current production watches - Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller. Even if the bracelet is really nice, the watch is really too heavy for 24/7 everyday use (then again, that is not really the design brief of the watch either...)

The 91350 on the 14060M. Loved the watch, hated the bracelet. One of the most uncomfortable bracelets I've ever owned (for my wrist). The hinge on the clasp would constantly dig into my wrist at just the wrong spot. There was no further means of adjustment (short of removing a permanent link) for my small wrist so I just got rid of it in favor of the new sub with half links, a better clasp, and glidelock adjustment. Best decision I ever made.

I haven't tried all the rolex models, but I feel uncomfortable with my Sea dweller...I only have a 6 1/4 inch wrist and on the six o'clock position, the bracelet has 5 links and 4 links on the other side, so now the clasp is not properly aligned. whereas my GMTIIc is very comfy....

I do not like watches that are really heavy.

Tried a DSSD once, too heavy, even my 16600 does not get much wrist time.

The new Rolex models I own (GMTc and SubC) are too heavy, they get no more wrist time. The additional weight comes of course from the blocky maxi case and the massive bracelet links.

From my Datejust all the way to my Masterpiece after extended wear all of my Rolex pieces become uncomfortable to wear for me especially when I am in the air on trips (except my 116718 when I can use the easylink function). I think the only comfortable adult piece I own is my Maurice Lacroix Jour et Nuit watch (extremely lightweight). I still like all my Rolex models nonetheless...

I am man enough to be able to lift my arm several times without even being able to detect if my Deepsea is even there or not.

I have a 7" wrist and weight 170 pounds and i can lift my arm with my Deepsea...Imagine that ?

May i suggest you guys stick with your girly sized watches or even consider plastic watches.

I hear that some plastic casio watches for ladies are quite comfortable

I thought the SD was comfortable, as is the submariner. The GMT2C seems to sit "flatter" on your wrist unlike the above mentioned models. (It took me some time to get use to wearing a GMT2C because, at first, I thought it was uncomfortable. Then got use to it and liked it a lot, especially with the easy adjustment link.) I really, really wanted to get a Deep Sea but, after wearing one for a while, it just didn't feel right. It is possible, however, that over time, I might have found it to be more comfortable.
