I would have to say the DSSD take #1 for the most uncomfortable as mentioned for both the height and weight. I will credit it with an awesome clasp with gives the impression of comfort but at the end of the day just too heavy for me.
#2 is the GMT IIc. I LOVE this watch however I have owned 2 of them (flipped them both) and am continually drawn back due to its looks..bad part is it just doesnt wear well for me and I cannot put my finger on it, its just not comfortable. My GMT Master II on the other hand (non ceramic) is a dream!!!

I never understood the whole SD 4000 is just too big for my dainty lil wrist, cheeze I wear a Deep Sea and this little bear thinks its just right. After I bought my DSSD, my SD 4000 looked like a girlie watch on my wrist....
The DSSD is perfect for my meat paw, so nanny nanny boo boo to all you limp wrists out there

Most of these weak men do not even own a Deepsea and they comment on it by parroting things they have heard or comment on it after carefully studying pictures of the watch on the internet I'd be surprised if half of these girly men have actually tried one on at an AD. Heck, i'd be even more surprised if they could close the clasp by themselves without asking the AD for help Imagine if they would try to enter a Breitling AD... They most probably would not have enough force to open the door. If they do make to to the counter...they would probably faint at the sight of a Breitling watch ! and the AD would have to call the ambulance LOL !!!! |

I tried on the DSSD at Grima in Melbourne when they first became available. Unsized it was too big and cumbersome.
At a GTG in Adelaide I tried on a Forum members DSSD which was a perfect fit and it felt great. I don't know how it would work for me long time. So I can't think of a Rolex that is uncomfortable.

Without having a Deepsea properly sized to one's wrist, One can bash the watch all day long without really knowing what they are talking about... |

I have had the Deepsea for a month now and have worn it 24/7. It is not uncomfortable in the least and I actually like the extra weight.
My wife now wears the original SeaDweller and thinks it is the perfect size for her. I have to admit that it looks mighty fine on her My vote would go with the leopard purely for the embarrassment factor. Each to their own .... I got GMTIIC and Sub and no complaint. Bigger and thicker ones like SSDD may be too massive. Also president bracelets do not feel good on the wrist. I haven't tried Sub C on yet but would have thought that enormous clasp is way too much...

I remember sometime ago on another forum 6-10 years ago.It was the Sea-dweller that was too chunky. too heavy. but loved the SEL links which the other sport models did not have. Could it be the the DS like the iconic SD will become a norm? Look at other threads about the new Subc. Like it hate it? I guess to each is own.
As said before A Mans Watch..cannot help you if some people are limp wristed "Not if there"s anything wrong with it'

What a great opportunity this thread is for non-owners of the Deepsea, who have had it on their wrist for two minutes to give it a good bashing.

Have 7" wrist and own a DeepSea. After wearing it for one month it started to feel cumbersome so I changed the bracelet and replaced it with a rubber strap. It continues to be my daily driver except on weekends when I try to rotate my other watches.

The imbalance of the Deep Sea (heavy head/light bracelet) makes for a uncomfortable fit for me.

16610. There was a time when I owned all 3: Sub, Subdate and SD. You will notice the difference and the Subdate just never got on. It's flatter, wider profile leading to the crown jabbing into your hand constantly. The cyclops was a sore to my eyes. Every man, woman and dog had one which was really uncomfortable.
It had to go, and I feel a lot better. Cheers, |

Between all of the ones I own, the SD because of it's weight and relative bulk.
