I believe its discontinued, there are rumors of a redesign, but unconfirmed.

The Submariner was up just a few days ago, but it was pointed out that the picture was an outdated one that did not represent the current Submariner.

It may have been taken down for that reason and it may have been taken down for the same reason that it was not listed on the Rolex site for at least a couple of years.

Too much should not be read into what appears on the Rolex site in terms of models.

There's a lot of speculation about the Submariner, but to my knowledge, nothing has been confirmed.

It's listed on the 9/1/2010 price list w/ 904L case and bracelet. 4,600 Euros.

Man, that is good news and seems to indicate that Rolex has no intention of abandoning this model.

Maybe it will get solid end-links and a Glide-Lock clasp and I will break my promise that my new DJ will be the last Rolex I ever buy.

Agreed. If you want to know the full range, the master catalogue and current price list are the places to look
