Hello all and please help,

I have a chance to purchase a Tudor Sub Model number 7928 for below $1,600. All I need to do is go to Rolex dealer with owner and authenticate. Any comments as to the value or what I should look for on the lugs and inside? Thank you and happy new year to all.

If you go to the AD with it together with the seller - as you state - you don't risk getting scammed.

I've seen this model number selling for $2,500 to $5,000. Is the $1600 price a good one for this 7928 model?

Looks good from those shots, do you have any shots of the inner back cover and the movement.

If you can verify it in Rolex Authorize Repair center then it's worth give it a go!

I'm not as lucky as you, i got the same one as you posted. Everything original except the case was a re-made as far as i can tell.. but still can fit all original rolex bracelet (a well good aftermarket case as i can say) but then again, it's not original :(

Absolutely! It seems to need service, but it would still be a good price.

Thank you. I purchased it today for the price agreed on Ebay. Now I have to find someone who will open it. I called an AD and they said they did not have the tool to open. I will call a few more. I was told I could go to Rolex NY on 5th ave and walk it in. I'm only about an hours drive so it may be good to do it. Any other ideas on who may authenticate this? Thank you.....Mark

Seems this is not the original movement which should be 17 jewles. It is still of value with the 25 jewel movement? The rotor also looks like it was added on as it says 30 jewles. The movement says 25. It seems nice and isnt 25 better then 17? Is this worth the $1600 I am paying? Please get back to me ASAP. Thank you.

Really, its not even worth the $1,500? The movement seems nice, being the 24 jewel and such.

there are a lot of problems I see.but as long as the case is authentic you can get the right movement pretty cheap.I would pay about 900 tops.
