Personally I have a problem giving up 3 watches for one, but in this case, it would seem that the deal is in your favor.

Yes. He gives me more for my daytona then i gave, and more for the milgauss then i gave. Im loosing about $1000 on the Breitling though.

In the end i have paid around $21000 for the WG Daytona.
Whats the MSRP for it?

It currently retails for $32,050 on the newest price list.

How many can you wear at once?

How often do you rotate?

I'd do it; but I am partial to precious metal watches. "Quality" vs. quantity IMO

I would still have my Zenith and the other Breitling too.

I would change the dial to the meteorite one as soon as i have that extra $3,500. THEN i would be happy:)

I'd do it. But I wouldn't wear the Panda on anywhere near a daily basis. It'd be a special occasion watch, or at least a watch to wear when you know you'll have very little chance of scratching it or knocking it against something.

I like having a rotation so I'd say no. Plus, precious metal doesn't have the draw to me as it does to others.

It seems like a good deal considering the WG Panda is retailing for $32,000 based on the new pricing. However, you are giving up variety. Are you willing to give up variety? The GV and the Breitling give you something unique and you would be giving up your SS Daytona. To the avg. person there is no difference between a WG Daytona and a SS Daytona. It is not easy to tell the difference unless you are a WIC. I think when it comes down to it I would personally want three watches over one precious metal watch.

Not a chance. I wouldn't know a wg watch over a ss if it bit me on the arse.

Varför inte göra som Thomas (Schroder) och köpa till en WG Panda-urtavla?

Jag hade nog inte bytt bort dessa tre klockor mot en Daytona med tanke pĺ att ovanstĺende möjlighet finns! :cheers.

You can sell the WG Daytona for $21K overnight. Anytime you can do that to a Rolex watch it is a good deal.
Now you'd have a hard time to sell all the 3 watches overnight for $21K.
The above 2 points are from a dollar and cents calculation.

Now the soul searching part.
You will love the new WG tremendously and soon realize you'd only wear it on absolute special occasions because you do not want to scratch it, nick it, dent it and other reasons.

Worth it? No doubt you have other watches to wear but still, you will spend a lot less wrist time on the new WG than all your other watches.

And another thing to consider, replacing the dial on such a gorgeous WG Original time piece is a greater sin than coveting for one.

I'd probably do it...but then again I'm crazy. No issues wearing a gold piece as a daily wearer.

1 Du tappar all skön variation du nu faktiskt har i din samling.
2 Vitt guld är ett mjukt material sĺ inte särskilt reptĺligt

jag skulle hellre spara pengar till en ny klocka!

Don't stare yourself blind at the $32,000 retail

as it can be bought brand new for around $25,000 and probably less.

Also, as soon as you take delivery it's a used watch and probably worth in the neighborhood of $20,000

However considering the value of your 3 watches, if it was me I'd do it.

Personally I wouldn't. Just save for the WG. Also i'd be nervous investing so much $$$$ in a single watch.

Sounds like a pretty good deal if you don't mind parting with your others.

I'd rather own one very nice watch rather than a few mediocre watches.

If this is as good and as interesting a deal as it seems for a watch that would be very special to you, it may be the right time to do this deal. The watches you are giving up are relatively easy to repurchase at a future date. The watch you are trading up for is perhaps more difficult to obtain certainly at this value, as well as being more unique, so if it a watch that you truly covet, go for it.

Thanks,
Ken

Define mediocre, when you're looking in the 5k+ range it's very rare to find something that's truly mediocre.
