The last three watches I have bought new...
A Rolex Milgauss, an Omega Aqua Terra 8500 and a Rolex Sub-c, ALL run +/-0 sec/day for weeks on end, and they arrived from the factory that way. I mean with just placing them in one consistent position at night. That means they are all better than 99.999% accurate. If it takes 10 days to accumulate a second's error, there would be another 9 on that, 99.9999%. One cannot help but wonder, how do they DO that with a mechanical watch?? These things are subject to knocks, waving around all day on one's wrist, temperature fluctuations, etc. A true wonder of the modern age.
