No matter what ever series or Internet codes used all you could ever find out was a approximation when a case was stamped sometime say between X&Y years. Now the GMT11c has remained unchanged since its introduction,so although the latest case stamp is perceived newer this is not always the case.As the movement could be older or newer made or visa versa when match to any particular case.Rolex watches are not made to the exact day week or year its all a approximation, and when bought new from AD you have the same two year warranty. At the moment there are the new random serials G letter plus a few others all that means is the cases was stamped sometime 2009/2010.

Agreed. It really doesn't matter what letter you have in front of your serial number with the 116710, they're all the same. Besides, depending on what each AD gets from Rolex HQ, you could end up with a V, G or random serial number - they'll all be brand new and they'll all be identical.

it's easy to leave your G order to all your ADs.
