Question Regarding www.rolex24h.com

Does anyone have any experience with this site www.rolex24h.com? Their used Rolex watches seem to be very inexpensive. Does anyone know if they are legitimate or not?

Thanks

Welcome to TRF. Glad you joined our fun forum.

As to that site, I know nothing about them. But I would stay away since they only accept non-refundable forms of payment (i.e., no credit cards). This is a flag that they are not on the level.

Thanks for the Quick Response Rock

Anyone have any good recommendations regarding websites for buying a used Submariner aside from EBay?

Well anything in the Rolex world if it looks to good to be true, then normally alarm bells start ringing.Other things like paying details like the ones from the above site etc.I would give them a very wide berth and stay well away looks like a scam IMO.

We accept:
Wire Transfer
Cashiers check
Money Order
Western Union
MoneyGram

Unfortunately, we do NOT accept Escrow or Direct Credit Card payment.

Try preownedrolex.com. I've bought from them and so have a number of other forum members.

Casey and Patton run a top notch operation in preowned Rolex's. Their prices seem fair, their service is great and I came away thinking the watch was better than they described it.

Good luck.

I second that. I've bought two watches from Cayce and have been VERY satisfied.

alanfurman.com and swissluxury.com are also sites that I would suggest.

I would run away from that rolex24h site. Looks very dubious to me. No information on the company, no phone numbers, no address, nothing.

WOW! If those prices on the rolex24h site are in USD, it is extremely cheap. IMO, too cheap to be true. Even if they are real, I would bet they are stolen or something else fishy.

This one they say is an "A" serial but year 2007: http://www.rolex24h.com/daytona_mop.htm

That puppy must have been sitting in the AD's case for awhile, huh!

Also, both Daytonas, and the Cellini next to them all have the same photo of the boxes and paperwork!

I remember a very similar question posed about this outfit last year.

I wonder how many poor buggers they have scammed since. I hope NONE.

Buy from one of the people on our good list right here. I think that is a good place to start.

It's hard to ban them when they are not a member here.

Garster,Call Dennis Kennedy, owner of Universal Timepieces , Boynton Beach ,Florida,561-868-7827 He has over a 1.5 dollar inventory of Rolex Watches pre-owned and brand new. His web site is Exoticwatchconnection.com. his Ebay site is at doctorrolex Fine Swiss Timepieces. I just purchased a new GMT Master ll 18K YG from him and I feel he was very fair on the price. I would buy again from him . Hayman4353

Guys,

Please check this 18k YG Daytona offered by rolex24h.com (http://www.rolex24h.com/daytona_mop.htm). Can you imagine a real (new) gold daytona sold for only USD 5,100?? If it is true, I have no objection to buy return ticket plus accommodation to take the watch myself from the seller :)....

Regards,

But all his images are clean sharp and clear..

So i guess its like original watches and when someone is about to buy something they either suck ur money or ship u bollocks...

The website should have been done more professionally...

Nothin like buying a used Rolex over the internet from Russia. Russia is a pretty honest place, so I say go for it. Great prices!

Amen to Cacye and Timekeeper. Cayce has been very professional in corresponding with me via email. I'm eagerly waiting to receive my very first SS DateJust from him, ref 16030.

Too bad Cayce doesn't take Credit card payments internationally, but you guys in the states are lucky to have Timekeeper!
