What additional rolex would you get for a rotation with a SDDS?

Guys, I have a dilemma. I love my deepsea but there are times that it just doesn't work. Mainly with a suit. I want to add another rolex to mix that can be worn in these situations.

What is the watch you would get given you owned a deepsea?

Please keep in mind that it would NEED to be a sport model....I know that narrows the choices down.

As always, thank you in advance for your reply.

Brian

I would get either a SS Yacht Master or a SS GMT-IIc.

i agree gmt 2 c for suits

but for elegance you could go datejust since the gmt and deep sea are similar looking. that would be true variety

Thanks for the responses. I was leaning toward a GMTC. Do you know what they are going for in the classified section? 6, 7 K?

Have been in the same boat twice and each time I paired up the EXP Ii white dial to compliment the DSSD....the EXP II is just as robust, yet sleek and of course offers a complete visual contrast with the white dial....perfect for you and your suits...no better choice IMO.

Hi Brian,

I don't have the SDDS but have a Sub-date and bought a White EII, great contrast between black & white. Two very different watches,,,,love them. Good luck on your decision

Wearing a GMTc with a suit now and it looks ok. Not exactly the classic look a DJ2 would have provided, but ok.

If you want an elegant yet sporty watch to wear with a suit, then I'd recommend the S/S YM or even one of the TT YM versions (provided you don't mind gold).

I'd get an old sub and a new sub: then you'd have small medium and large!

Thanks everyone for your responses. So here's what its between:

GMT IIc
EXplorer II
And
Daytona

I would love a daytona but it's a bit spendy. Anyone have a black dial yet want to get rid of for 6k??? :)

Explorer II is a great piece but I'm not sure about the white face.

I'm leaning towards the GMT IIc but need to try them all on to be sure.

Thanks TRF!

I would choose this one for sure. It is a perfect compliment to my 16600 SD...

Go Daytona - smaller, thinner, would contrast nicely :)

You don't have to conform to the norm.

YM or GMTIIC, maybe a Sub if you don't mind something that looks similar. All of the aforementioned pieces will be a nice addition, lacking though, in terms of prowess and stats. The DSSD is a near impossible act to follow.
