DeepSea on leather strap?
Hey guys!
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried fitting a leather strap on the DeepSea? I am thinking about trying but would love to see some photos before I buy one. The strap I have in mind is the Hirsch Principal (in black) with curved ends, think it will look good? Please post a picture if you have any. Thanks! |

A DSSD on a leather strap would be a disaster IMO. Not the best of ideas.

Don't do it!!! If you think about a strap on a DSSD at least go with a nice rubber strap 'a la IWC or Panerai' or something similar. My choice, always keep that beautiful SS bracelet on it.

I've seen some DSSD on straps thatlokk stunning. The common thing for the ones that looked greatwas they had padding in between the leather to make them thicker.

I've tried it on leather - it doesn't really work well, destroys the balance. I've also tried with on various silicon rubber straps, not recommended either. It is very comfortable on a regular ZULU strap though.

The only leather strap I would put on is a Greg Stevens "Crazy Horse".
