I started my Rolex journey with a modern DJ but have slowly drifted in the direction of the classic styles. That being said, I think I like the new SubC but will have to put it on my wrist for a while to really know.

Only the red. The 5513 came from a great gentleman out west years ago. It was last serviced by BH....Man I wish they were still around.

this is split down the middle, thought it would favor one way or the other.

I bought the 16710 a couple years ago, and the 116713 this year.

As far as the GMT -
the new ones are light years ahead of the outdated ones (I meant to say classic)

My TT DJ 16013, I've not found any Rolex I like better since I bought it new in 1987. This is why I was willing to spend $3,000.00 almost exactly one year ago for servicing, new crystal, hands, dial and Jubilee bracelet at the PA RSC. So, I have my old friend in new condition once again. It's now my dress watch. I wear the Omegas (see my signature) for daily use. After all, I'm 59 and plan on living to at least 99, so I gotta get 40 more years out of it.

Good way to put it. Same with pictures, the new supercases often don't look great in pics like the catalogue, but put it on a wrist and what a difference!
I voted with $$$. New.
