Rolex warranty

Hello,

I am going to buy a pre owned GMT2c this week. It is well within the 2 year Rolex warranty period.

Does the warranty only apply to the original purchaser or will I be eligible?

Thanks in advance guys.

Also what constitutes an absolutely complete set in terms of box and documentation and other bits and pieces?

In your country the warranty goes with the watch, so yes.

The warranty goes with the watch. Most people who have bought used watches and needed warranty never had issue using it--including me the one time I needed to use warranty a while ago on one of my watches.

What if you have a warranty paper that is not filled out by the AD with original purchaser and purchase date filled out, it is just blank, and I am not the original purchaser. Does this affect the warranty or value of watch?? Warranty paper is from AD Jared.

Not at all. That is great...All you need to do is write your name and address in with date.

I believe if you read the warranty booklet, it says that the warranty paper or card needs to be filled out with the buyer's info and date of purchase for it to be valid.
