Patek 5712R. Looks awful (IMO) off the wrist, but absolutely sensational on.

What is the real definition of a "grail" watch? Isn't it something that cannot be found or obtained? As in the "holy grail"? Or is it just the apex or peak of what you want?

Well, I should be satisfied with my sub and gmt particularly
as only three years ago, I never thought I would
own a Rolex. I am already blessed. However, I'd love a yg
green dial GMTIIC and ifvi had even more dough... Maybe
a WG sub with blue saphire and diamond bezel with princess
cut stones. Reality says neither will happen.

I have Patek, Panerai, Cartier, Franck Muller, and Rolex. My grail was the 14060M.

DavidSW saw to it that I got one. I am a happy man.

I didn't know it when I bought it, but the Sub-C has turned out to be my "grail." I love it to the point of ignoring much of my other watches. It may wear off after a while, but this is the longest that I've been satisfied with just one watch.
