I don't like to respond on posts like these but like Bill O'Reilly stories like this rile me up
The more info supplied the more this thread ... I'm with you ready to call BS.

You may call watches of switzerland, Rolex, or contact DC Chris Coen of Holland Park police, though I am not sure they would tell you much, or shouldn't anyway. I am an 18 year old kid living a comfortable life with my parents in a nice area of notting hill, with a great number of friends, I have no reason to make anything up at all, not for insurance money, not for something to do (frankly tracing the f^$&in watch is a pain in the a.r.s.e), not to make acquaintances online with a sob story, there is nothing wrong with the picture other than that I have had a watch stolen and had two criminals in my house while I was napping and having a shower after a tiring overnight flight (watching Toy Story 3) from New York (I hope no one questions my motives in being in New York - I was there showing around a friend who had gone over with his doctor dad who was lecturing at Columbia, as I know the city well because by mum grew up there and my parents lived there for a while... so there!)
At the moment, my mum feels unsafe in the house here, so has gone to our house in gloucestershire, so it is not a particularly funny or smart thing to accuse me of any story-telling.
Anyone else who has a problem with this story may keep it to themselves, or at least first try to imagine having everything that you hold dear gone through by two probable drug addicts, leaving mud all over the white carpets, switching on YOUR lights, looking at YOUR artwork on the wall, walking up YOUR stairs into YOUR room and taking YOUR watch, before letting themselves out through YOUR back door. Its just wrong, and as my dad says, we all feel 'violated'.
Again, I am not having the best week and may be a little sensitive, but it seems people are a little bitter about how i didn't immediately snap a billion shots of my watch and send them over to you guys as soon as I could upload them. If that is not the case then, sorry, but if it is, then how SELFISH. I mean, come on?! frankly I could have never bothered to come on here at all and tell you, but I am busy- at the time I had a part time job, but since I have been in Rome, New York, I did a university tour of England, I have been in Edinburgh, and between that I have been going out and doing whatever most 18 year olds do. In fact I would have most likely posted the photos I was going to take for the insurers and post them here, as indeed everyone was so helpful, but to say I "couldn't be bothered to post the photos" is bull****.
I'm really sorry if I offended anyone, I really am. I would do almost anything to get it back, including argue on forums with unreasonable people.
thankyou FREMSTAR, I appreciate the offer, but I don't want your money, no offence.
There's a saying... pix's or it didn't happen

What's there to stop you from covering up pertinent info of the receipt and snapping a pix to post?

what next

...just saying
