Hey Now from Columbus OH
Greetings All
I have always wanted a Rolex since my dad brought home a knock off from Hong Kong when I was a kid. My late uncle was a collector and one of his favorites was the Rolex Presidential. I have my 40th birthday coming up in November, and it might be about time to finally join the club. I recently checked out the local AD and my top 2 at this time are the GMT II 116710LN and the new Sub 116610LN. I am also a fan of the Daytona 116509 & 116520, however those are so far out of my league they are off the radar right now. I think that GMT II is my #1 right now. When the time & $ is right I hope to make my 1st purchase from a trusted seller on TRF. Some of my many obsessions include but are not limited to: Craft Beer, Everything Atari, Cigars, Golf (love it, it does not love me), Poker, & Buckeye Football. As a wedding gift my wife gave me a Tag Heuer Link chronograph automatic stainless which has been my special event watch. I included a couple wedding day pics of the new watch from 07. My daily has been my Invicta (Rolex Sub imposter), and most recently a Movado 800 series stainless chronograph. I have already enjoyed hundreds of informative Rolex posts, and look forward to reading more! Adios , Scott |

Welcome- Nice Link. Don't shy away from a second-hand Rolex from a trusted source. Its a great way to enter into the Rolex world at a more reasonable price, and the used ones tend to hold their value very well. You could buy an older Sub and wear it for a year while saving for your GMTIIc. When you get your savings up, you can likely flip the Sub for the same price you bought it for.
