Rolex Explorer II - First Rolex

Hello Everyone

I came to you a earlier this year and I was having a difficult time deciding between a Sub or an ExplorerII. I believe I found one and wanted to get your opinion on this seller and the watch. He said he is selling it because he is starting his own investment company and needed some capital. I also noticed he sold his Daytona and received 100% on the transaction so that makes me feel good.

Anyways, just let me know what you think of this watch and if it looks OK from what you can see. I just got my Christmas bonus so I am ready to buy one. I Really appreciate all of the help in the previous post and look forward to your responses. Thanks again!

Welcome to TRF.

We are going to be really busy if we are going to be asked to check out every Rolex being auctioned on eBay. So does that mean we are responsible for the outcome?

Those bezels are hard to clean up, it is not like the inserts that can be replaced for $100. I can't see the bezel by those pictures. From what I can see, the watch looks good.

There are people right here on TRF who sell watches. You can actually see the watches as they are well photographed. Additionally, the trusted sellers have completed many, many transactions with many satisfied customers. Sellers on eBay have to pay 3 % for Paypal and 3% for eBay.... hmmm, I wonder who eats those costs? A number of TRF sellers also sell on eBay; however, you can actually see the watch as they take pictures that show the watch.
