Could someone share the cost of replacing a chipped crystal on the Deepsea - both labor and material?

I meant to say: could you share the INFORMATION on the cost..., i.e. how much it costs to replace the crystal? I realize it came out wrong, now that I read it again.

I am no use I'm afraid, I think, relatively speaking, crystals aren't too expensive to replace. Let us know how you get on.

Brent,

If you're in town(Indy) just run it by Reis-Nichols and they can probably get you a price/estimate on the crystal. I think it may have to go back to Rolex to get it changed. Maybe things have changed, but I don't think the ADs watchmakers were able to work on the Deep Sea.

The deep sea crystals are quite expensive it's roughly $680 aud for casekit plus pressure test( which is where the cost comes in.) it must go back to rolex as the pressure tester required to test to 12000ft is Only available at rolex :) sorry to hear about your problem though. Hope it gets worked out :)
