Mine is a white-faced SS Daytona, though it likely won't actually come until 2012. Maybe a GMT manufactured in the year of my birth.

For those looking for (non-vintage) Daytonas in 2011, here's a plug for the 16520, the Zenith Daytona.
I was lucky enough to pick up one here on TRF a few months ago and absolutely LOVE it. It's a white dial with black subdials, which to my personal taste provides a sharper look than the chrome subdials on the 116520 --although the new ones are awesome too. Also, mine is a Series A serial, which combines the Zenith movement with the SEL bracelet and Luminova markers. The Series A was only made for a couple of years (1998-2000 I think) before the 116520 was introduced, so to my mind it's a bit more unique and difficult to find among the modern Daytonas. Plus the SEL bracelet is supposedly better against stretching. If you're interested I saw that lawrenceb re-listed the one I didn't buy from him (almost the same as the one I did--he's a great seller!) in the classifieds a few days ago! Best of luck to everyone in getting what you want in the new year! |

I have a DJ coming, and I would also like to acquire a 14060 or polar Exp II. After that, I need to chill.

I just picked up a completely RSC redone 1675 from 1965. I'd like to pick up the last sub model prior to them adding the date function, white gold surrounds or sapphire crystal.

Though I already have a 16610, I want to get a 14060 and put in on nato now.
Originally, I desired an EXP ii but now I believe my next acquisition shall be the aforementioned 14060. Long term, would still prefer to get a president at some point [though, still young so rather invest my earnings than spending it on all yg Rolex...]

For Rolex, I'd really like a milgauss and perhaps a sub c. I want to get my SO a 178384. Then after those pieces it will be time to go vintage for me. However, I think the first watch will be a Cartier calibre.

It probably won't happen this year and maybe it will never happen, but I do share your desire for a 14060M. The price is really getting up there to where it's really not the bargain it was just a couple of years ago, but we'll see what happens at Basel. Some SELs might throw me over the edge.

I would like to get an Explorer II but only if the rumored big orange GMT hand model is introduced.
