White Milgauss. It is a really sporty-looking watch with the orange markers and the lightning-bolt second hand. For some reason, the GV gets all the love and the white model is the stepchild.

I, too, think it is the Yachtmaster...any Sub gets lots of love here, and "in the wild." Although there are other YM owners here, I have seen only 3 "in the wild" (and none of them were the ladies' model) since I got mine almost 9 years ago. I see Subs almost every day.
Actually, technically I see a Sub every day, as my husband has one! |

I would have to say the Cellini, followed closely by Air King models. At some point, I would love to have a gold dress watch. From what I see on the Rolex website, the Cellini models are just as fine as a lot of other watches out there, and at not too bad a price for some of them. I think it's a bit sad really that they don't get more attention. Could it be because they are too "un-Rolex".
I think the Air King is an amazing watch. And they have dials to suit just about everyone. They also look great dressed up with a white gold fluted bezel. They are really very unique in that they have a smaller size at 34mm, they have no date, and they have an inhouse movement. I can think of no other watch manufacturer that has this much selection in this type and size of model. Omega, for example, in it's entire lineup has one: The Railmaster. It is 36mm, not an inhouse movement, though, and is available in only one dial. It does not have a calendar, and is beautiful in it's simplicity. But that is only one model in the entire lineup. Rolex literally has dozens of combinations. Cheers, Carl

I honestly think that the Explorer II's massively underappreciated by "non-WIS"s .....
I've read many articles online recently calling it "the stealth rolex" & where people have said "I bought it because it's the most NON-looking Rolex Rolex...." |

Got to go with the Air King. Very nice looking watch but just not a headline grabber for some reason.

I have to agree that the the AK is the most under appreciated.
Being at the bottom of the price list, gives it bad vibes for a lot of people and of course in the age of the gargantuan watch, 34mm is now considered distaff territory, which seems odd because as few years back as say 1995, a 34mm watch was a very common size for men.

I've seen every Rolex in the wild, including a diamond DD masterpiece, but I have NEVER seen a ss/pt Yachtmaster in the wild.
Odd, as I find it the most beautiful Rolex, hands down. Most under-appreciated, though? Black dialed Milgauss, and any AK. Though in the town I work I see a LOT of vintage AK's/DJ's/OP no dates. |

Don't hear anybody posting or talking about the explorer. One of the most iconic watches for Rolex. A totally timeless classic. Just look at a 60's 1016. Simplicity and elegance.

I certainly don't appreciate this beastly Rolex. However, I would vote for Air King. I used to love the AK a few years ago when it was a very cheap Rolex but as of late it's completely fallen off the radar; and when I had enough money for a Gmt ii..... YM is also less appreciated, though I love that one as well. |

The Airking, most certainly. It's among the most comfortable, if not the most comfortable rolex watch I have ever worn.

Explorer 2.. Stunner with the white dial, but always seems to be the least desirable.. One will be coming my way at some point in 2011 I'm sure!
