There is no grail, you just need to own every single piece of Rolex out there. Except the Leopard Daytona.

Is this post still going. Ok my grail(s) are: a perfect 4 line 6538, a 5513 fully spec'd Milisub and finally a 6240 screw down 2 color white PN. Is that asking too much?? The Holy Rolex Trinity for me!! LOL.

Don't really believe in grails, but an original mint military Sub might come close.

There's no such thing as a grail, I always end up getting another watch afterwards. I thought my grail was my AP ROO but I still look around. Perhaps a Double Red SD or a Platinum Patek Nautilus with black strap!

My grail as well though I found it a bit heavy when I tried it on [I like relatively light watches]

In terms of Rolex, a 116710 - I would be exceptionally happy with one. In terms of my all-time grail, an A. Lange & Sohne Datograph is what really gets me excited!

My Rolex Grail is a White Dial Daytona and I plan on obtaining it sometime this year if I can find one.

My actual grail watch is the Daymatic ...

But the IWC Perpetual Calendar is a close second ...

this was one of two grails i always wanted and recently bought a couple months back

as for my 2nd grail that i have yet to find would be a gilt 6538 big crown bond sub, or a 5510 would do for that matter.

John--very nice as well--looks vaguely familiar--much like the Lange Datograph above--I have seen them somewhere before!!

I was fortunate enough to purchase my grail this year, a Sub C. However, much like others there can never be just one grail, there's always a next one.

Rolex grail: DJII steel and white gold

Non-Rolex grail: Blancpain Leman 2863-1130a-71

Gilt dials really do rock - love looking at the 6542 bakelite. The vintage bracelet is classic on the '58. The 1665 with an ivory patina and that domed crystal is cool too.

An SS Daytona ... initially was not in my radar despite many good reviews/ comments on the watch. Recently, was literally mesmerized seeing this worn by a country club member during a Dec event. One week later, got hold of one through a reliable AD and the rest is history.

Next Grail ? A Patek 5205g...
