Hi guys, i am quite sad

after i hit my Rolex against the corner of steel table at work and i've got a little scratch and a small dent, the sharp part is the as much as i can see but is bent inside. The rim that holds the bezel has a small dent, wich is small but doesn't look good as you can see it in the photos.The bent and scratch are under 30.
My questions are:
Shall i send it to Rolex for service?I heard it takes up to 3 months.How much does it cost?
Can the rim be replaced and scratch be polised without need to send it to service.I live in South London, so what can i do?
I am willing to pay up to £ 100,but if is needed that the whole Cercamic bezel to be replaced then i have to live with it as will be very expensive.
I know it was my fault, and the Submariner is very tough watch as i hit it hard, but the glass is ok.
Your help( advice) will be much apreciated.

I would not worry about it - it really does not look that bad at all.

These things happen and may happen again, and you will not be able to repair after each such event.

Enjoy the watch.

I see the imperfection. RSC might be able to do a little with it, but IMHO.......the only real fix is a new bezel. It shouldn't be too expensive, but my guess is that it will be more than 100 sterling pounds.

I would live with it, if it were mine.

I can't really see any problem. Don't worry about and just wear and enjoy your watch. You will soon forget about it.

Cannot see the damage,but below is the UK retail price for the GMT11c posted by one of the TechXpert expect the sub would be around the same price

The only thing I can see is a very tiny scratch on the endlink below the 30 on the bezel. Leave it alone, its fine.

I can see it the point on the edge of the bezel below the 30 is flattened out. The days of the tool watch are gone. It has almost become impracticable to do anything but baby them. The cost is just to high.

I can barely see it on the bezel. Little things bug me like that too, but they happen. It is a tool watch, and is meant to be "banged around". At least you got the first one out of the way :) If you send your watch to RSC every time it gets a dent or scratch on it, you will never get to wear it. Just my .02

Already been said. Unless you plan on keeping it as a safe queen, it's going to get marked up. Don't think twice about it, just wear and enjoy!

This my second "WTH" of the day!

So what, your professional diving tool has a ding/scratch/dent on it!?! Unless it actually stops showing accurate time I don't see the problem.

Just enjoy your watch and stop fretting about it. Take care of it whey you send it for CLA in 5-6 years - and by then it will have tons more nicks and scratches on it.

? It appears that there is a microscopic scratch in the SEL, and one of the 'teeth' of the bezel edge is dented or blunted, also microscopically. The tiny scratch in the SEL can be buffed out in 15 seconds with a Scotchbrite pad, and the dented 'tooth' can be cheerfully ignored. Nobody on earth will ever notice it. I'm sure the watch still works just admirably. Rest easy.

That would hurt me too, but to be honest, it will get more over time. I tried to tell this to my wife when she got her first scrape on the bumber of her SLK. She wanted to have it fixed but I said to wait till she got a few more, she argued but agreed in the end. It now has at least 3 more scratches and is now worth taking in.

The point to this story? Just leave it to gather a few more bumbs and then take it in when it is due for a service.

Wow! Your tolerance for dings is WAY lower than mine, I really can't see it in any of your pics. Wear it and enjoy it, I wouldn't spend a cent on it at this point.

Ceramics like this do not bend or dent, they fracture and break. I'd leave the bezel insert alone until a chunk falls out before replacement which appears to be very expensive.

You can't wear a watch without expecting to pick up some bumps and scrapes. If I serviced my watch every time I scratched it, I'd expect Rolex would end up spending more time with it than I did! Seriously, don't worry about it, it's a tiny cosmetic mark

I spend my professional life scouring images for subtle deviations from normal. Yes, I can see the defect, however it seems quite small. As far as the blunted bezel point, a good jeweler could likely reshape that, such that it would almost be imperceptible.

As previous posters have said, the first "injury" is the worst, however you can look at it this way...

Prior to the "coup de grace" that your bezel suffered, it was just like any other Sub...one that you could have purchased in any store. Now however, it is yours, with a small indicator that YOU have worn it and used it as it was intended...not stored in a safe.

You have made your mark on it. Cherish it as such! It is not a blemish, but rather a battle scar, albeit a small one.
