These YM's are beginning to grow on me. When I bought the SD, I could have had an Explorer II with a white dial. I liked the looks, but went with the more traditional Rolex. Now the white face Daytona is my next watch, but got to admit I am thinking more and more about the SS/Plat YM.

A Yacht Master in the snow? Poor guy, he belongs in much warmer temperatures to operate properly, send him to me in Dallas, hurry. Oh, wait, nevermind it's 30*F, great photos.

Both are very nice. I love the 18K bezel. I also like the mono chromatic look of the platinum and steel. It looks to be carver out of ice in the snow.

Don't let me persaude you into one, because I am biased - All of those watches you mentioned (including your SD!) are great choices ... but I will post some more pictures from a little better of a camera for those who are enjoying..

Thanks for the kind comments all! I'm really enjoying the gray nato strap on it as well, it gives it a very unique look and it's nice to always have the classic Oyster bracelet to go back to!

Those were some great pictures. You gave me a new appreciation of the Yacht Master. I'm a sub guy and never even considered a Yacht Master. Well...I can't say that anymore! Thanks!

Great PICs guys.

I have a YM and I have snow, but I'm a wimp so you wont get me to go outside and take that kind of PIC.

Thanks and that's a powerful statement! I'm glad I was able to give a different enough look to the YM to get it some recognition from another crowd! It truly is such a versatile watch!

Great photos, thanks for sharing. That's the most stylish case design of all Rolexes in my opinion: shame it wasn't used for the new Sub'.
