TT Blue Submariner as daily watch?
It have been offer to me a TT Blue Sub, at a very very reasonable price, I will be my only watch. I am little concern because I mostly wear sport rather than formal. Any toughs? Thanks.

As I understand your concern is that the gold makes it look more formal than SS ?

Every single Rolex is made to be worn daily. Just pick out the one you like.

Yes it is a pre Ceramic model (around 2007), and yes my concern is about its formality and the liberal environment where I work...

I think the TT sub blue is very wearable as an only watch. It's versatile enough to shift with a suit or shorts and t shirt.. Very understated for a watch with yg.

I think its an great watch that I am considering buying myself in the future, but I do think that some see the TT (gold) as more formal compared to steel only.

I think the TT blue sub is a great watch, IMO the pre-ceramic version is the best looking watch that Rolex has made.
It's a question of personal taste, but myself I prefer SS for daily wear though and TT to dress things up a bit. As noted above though many like TT for daily wear. |

It's a sport watch and a very tough one, too. My first Rolex was a tt GMT in 1973. I wore it daily, in the Army, in manufacturing facilities, hiking, etc., and it still looks great. I had it serviced and gave it to a son. Whenever I see him with it I'm impressed with how sharp it looks.
If you really like the blue Sub, you'll have a great watch for life. |

I wear a 2007 TT blue for my daily watch and I love it. 99% of the world will not even notice it or even know what it costs or what its worth. Buy it, wear it & enjoy it! I do!

Sub TT = elegant and sporty. Depends on what clothing you are wearing, the Sub will adapt. Go after it! Nice watch!
Cordial regards, Abel.

TT Blue Sub is for many members (including me) most beautiful Sport Rolex. IMHO it`s perfect everyday watch, perfect dress watch...all in all, perfect watch!
And you should go for it...

It's a beautiful watch, as I owned one, but have sadly sold it.
For everyday use, it should be fine, but the gold portion does pick up scratches easily.

I had one and I loved it, but I sold it because I wanted another watch and I didn't wear it everyday because of the gold. If I were you I'd go for a stainless sub unless you can't get one for a better price.
Best of luck!

I have a friend who works on a farm and uses the TT Blue Sub every day, so to answer your question - yes, go for it.

I know someone that uses this as their daily watch, I see no reason why you can't.

It can be completely casual and/or completely formal. I wear mine with a Tux, business suit and shorts/swim trunks. Never looked out of place.

Me too but the tt sub would be my one and only if I could only have one. I think they work every way if you like the "bling" effect of the gold with the blue.

I have the same two watches and do the same thing. I also have a blue nato and a blue/yellow nato and they look great on the TT Blue Sub, and tone it down slightly. Do it my friend
