2011 Super Bowl Predictions thread.

OK, we did this last year so here goes.

Make your prediction in the format " The ........-ers by ...... (# of points)"

Editorializing not necessary. Let's see who gets it closest or spot on. Winner gets bragging rights til next year, maybe Stevo can pitch in some infraction point credits or something

Steelers by 5.

with my numbers (squares) 14-14 for all 4 quarters would be ideal :)

Of course a Raven fan can't root for the Steelers!! Nor a Jets fan for that matter--interesting how their fans are all sipping on that Haterade and going for Packers!!!

Very true, here are how Ravens fans work. We cheer for two teams every week. Our team and whoever is playing the Steelers..lol.

To my credit I really like Aaron Rodgers though, I owned him in my fantasy football this year so I followed his game very closely. Considering he lost his starting running back in Grant for the whole season in week 1 and did not have a single 100yard rusher in the regular season shows how good he really is. Not to mention the packers led the league in players on the IR and they lost Jermichael Finley midway through the season! Plus 2 concussion for Rodgers this season. Also his character dealing with the whole Brett Farve situation really is a class act. The fact they made it to the playoffs and won 3 away games is nothing short of impressive...kind of like the Ravens Superbowl run in 2000.

With the Steelers O-line and the Packers corners, I predict pain for Ben Roethlisberger.

Ravens only won 2 away games in 2000. They had a home game as the 4th seed in the old division.

Not followed 'Grid Iron'(sorry but it is defo NOT football) ;) for many a year now but i was sad to hear that the Bears never made it and since that's not the case i think/hope the Steelers will win it.

Or better yet--Like the Steelers 5th Superbowl win in 2006 when they went on the road 3 times and won the SB in Detroit!!
