I Love the Yachtmaster!
Hi Everyone,
Well today I convinced my hubby to 'stop by' the AD so we could try on a few models! He's considering his first Rolex - either a Sub No Date or a Sea Dweller! I wanted to try on a couple myself which I've been thinking about...Exp2 (white dial) and YM (ss/plat). This AD had a great selection...most if not all sports models, and a lot of DDs and DJs! Like a candy store. I liked the Exp2 a lot, but it didn't really 'do it' for me...not like my Sub Date. Then I tried on the 40mm YM and I was BLOWN AWAY! What a GORGEOUS watch! Wowzers! I'd never tried this watch on before. It sure SANG to me! Ha! They didn't have the mid-size in stock but I didn't even care! The full size version took my breath away! I'm used to my Sub Date so the size was great. Even my hubby agreed! We didn't leave with anything, but now I'm starting to 'plan' ! Ha! Dangerous in our house! Post your YM shots PLEASE! I need to get through the day!!!! Karis |

You have great taste, Karis. The Plat/SS YM is my current favourite Rolex.
Let us know when your new baby arrives!

Great Choice Karis! You all have convinced me that this is my next Rolex. I tried on the 40mm Plat/SS YM at an AD last week and I was also very impressed.
Hope to get one soon!!! Keep us posted!! Jan |

And to think that they have left this classic for the new monster. If this one is discontinued it would be a tragedy.

I wasn't a fan of the SS/platinum YM until I played golf with a buddy yesterday. Seeing them behind glass or trying them on doesn't do the watch justice. You have to see it outside of a store to appreciate it.
Now, I am a fan. |

JJ, great pictures of the TT blue YM..........The best I've seen ! I change my mind about this watch every day . If only it had the same living, vibrant blue dial as the TT blue Sub then it would be my perfect TT watch. |
