Rolex service documentation
Hello all,
I have just sent my submariner two tone/bi-colour for a service (First 5 year service) via a Rolex auhorised dealer. Can you tell me, what I should expect on return of the watch i.e. Service documentation, Rolex protective case etc... Kind regards |

Since you sent it through an AD, expect just a one year service guarantee paper and a service booklet, and a list of what they charged you for.

I'm not sure what they give you in the UK... In the US, you need to stay on top of the AD because they tend to do it all for you and not give you the documentation..
Rolex should always provide an initial written estimate with both recommendations and requirements. You must approve this work estimate and say yay or nay to the recommendations. Afterwards they provide an invoice of work done and itemized costs.. Here again, the Dealer may just give you their invoice.. It should be shipped back in a service box and they usually include a leather pouch.. I have heard that they may have discontinued that though, but you're paying good money so ask for one..

In the US, documentation of what was performed, a cleaning cloth and dark green carrying case with the watch, although never used by me.

Just a suggestion-- if you don't have the original purchase paperwork, save the service documents. They a really nice to have if you ever want to sell the watch.

On my Tudor Submariner service via the Dallas RSC, I received a card with a receipt for the service. Warranty is two years.
