Daytona Transplant Surgery - thanks to Normandy and DavidSW!!!

Thanks to Normandy (Dom) for an absolutely flawless transaction - great dealing with you mate

..and to DavidSW for his advice and help with postage - David very kindly took delivery of the dial for me and then sent to me here in Australia...thanks my friend

Some pe-operation shots....

Here's hoping the surgeon's hands are steady - will be gone for a couple of days:thumbsup :

Spot on Rob

I love both the white and black versions.....but couldn't quite justify having both...Too many other watches got in the way

This will cost about $80 AUD to switch...and I get to change back like you say

My preference is for black dial watches..will be interesting to see if I miss the white much.

Apparently the main issue will be with changing the hands over as I got a dial but no hands....but, apparently if there is the cost will up to $150AUD so it's not that huge a deal. New ones can't be that much at all.

Can't wait to get it back..dropping it off later today

Hey Dalip, hope the transplant works out well

The prices for the dial swap seem reasonable to

You'll have to let us know which colour dial your eyes can better pick up legibility at a glance.

Absolutely Anders.....kept trying on the black dial and loving it...and now I will have both..just perfect. Was so pleased when I'd just put up a WTB thread for the black and I got a response almost straight away

Ahh...Otto and others have done likewise. Best of both worlds.

Of course a WG Panda dial would look nice as well :-)

You're always up to something, Dalip!

Great to have options of course...I'm curious to hear your feedback regarding legibility after you wear it for a few days.

Come back soon with photos

I know Bill I fear this may be the beginning of dial hunting...

Let's see though....I have always been a big fan of the current white and black SS models...The only other Daytona that has ever really caught my eye is the Rose Gold...and by the looks of things that may just be a new model coming out at Basel 2011...
