Service?
I just bought my first Rolex, a submariner 14060 from 1993.
I asked the auction house if it needed servicing, they just said to see if the watch kept proper time and gave me the number of a service guy. I took the watch in to another dealer to have the bracelet resized and I asked him if it needed servicing, and he also said to just see if the watched worked properly. I've worn it since last thursday and it seems to work fine. I've read before that its wiser not to have any problems develop before servicing, so at this point I'm inclined to take it in before the end of the year for cleaning/servicing. Any thoughts on the matter? Thanks! |

Since you do not know when this watch was last serviced I would find a jeweler who is authorized to work on Rolexes or send it in RSC in New York City for service!!!

Since you live in NYC i would advice to just walk in to the NY RSC and get a service estimate.
