New Ball Power Glow just arrived!

I just became the proud owner of a new Trainmaster Power Glow. So far, my impressions are very favorable. I traded in a white dial Fireman Generation I which was a great no-frills watch with a classic appeal. I was drawn to the Power Glow because of it's similarity, but liked the arabic 6 and 12, as well as the power reserve indicator. In addition, I feel the 41 mm is the idea size for my wrist. This now satisfies my "need" for a white dial watch on a leather strap!

I will say, the watch in person is far more impressive than the images on the Ball website. I tried to capture this in the pictures, but there is a lot of detail which went into this watch design. I especially like the applied numbers, brushed/polished combination case and exhibition case back. I only had time to snap off a few pictures before the sun went down.

That looks really good! I've got the same watch with black dial, but I think I like yours better. It's a great night-time watch, which is how I mainly use it (this old man likes to know what time it is when I'm getting up to pee in the middle of the night ). Sometimes the glow from the power reserve indicator can make it slightly more difficult to read the time quickly (especially if you're half awake), but all in all I like having the indicator.
