DLC Explorer II

Taken with a Lumix DMC-LX3

I know the first one is OOF, but I like it.

I like your black out Rolex Explorer. Did you get it done or bought it that way? Is it really scratch proof? I was looking at some websites about DLC Rolex and wanting to buy one myself as well.

I had it done via a Jeweler here in Houston, but apparently they use the same people who does the DLC for Time and Gems.

Short video of DLC:

I slipped while on vacation in the Bahamas, poolside in the Atlantis and banged the bracelet unto the cement...no scratches!

Any problems with the finish? I love the white face Explorer II but if I were to go with a black face, I'd get it in DLC.

No problems at all with the finish. I tripped up poolside in the Bahamas and banged my bracelet on the concrete, TWICE! And no scratches at all.

Diamond Like Coating = DLC and it is HARD like a diamond as advertised!
