Back in 2006, I bought an E serial watch for $2000. I had to service it (dial and hand replacement + service) for an extra $1200 from what I recall.
You may have to be looking at the $3000 ball park. I also depends if the watch that you are looking for still has the original dial (Tritium), it may be priced higher.

If given the choice, choose the one in the best condition with the best bracelet since these watches would be almost identical (the '98 may have Luminova, the '91 would not)

Without knowing anything more, I'd say $3,000. If the service was a full RSC service done in the last two years, you might go up a few hundred. If the service is older or way overdue, you might drop the $3,000 number by a couple hundred.

I'd say between £1500-2200 depending on condition.

14060s can widely vary in price. You can find early 90s 14060s in decent shape (possibly in need of service) around $2900 USD. A used 14060M can bring closer to $4000. A new or like new 14060M here on TRF will be priced around $5100. I personally have an affinity for the older 2-line non-COSC 14060s, which are also amongst the least expensive. Works for me.
