I say take the compliment and roll with it. It's bound to happen when you pick a watch that isn't seen that much in the wild but bares a strong resemblance to the most recognizable watch in the world.
Or if the person seems to express more than just a passing interest, you can turn it into an educational opportunity. That's exactly how I first learned abot the SD, I mistook it for a Sub on the wrist of one my former clients. He turned out to be an avid collector and taught me a lot. |

Not everyone will know the specific model of the watch on your wrist. Heck, someone even mentioned to me seeing that I had a Rolex and thought it was $15,000! I wouldn't be offended, that's the least that would come mind.
