Hello guys,

I am a new joiner, I am 24 years of age and currently living in Saudi Arabia.

I posted a photo of my current rolex collection, the picture is not great but does the job.

Explorer II, SS Sub, 50th Anv. TT GMT-MASTER II.

I voted for SS sub and then I thought, why did I vote for that when the last watch I bought was the 50th Anniversary TT GMT ll.

Welcome to the forum. I voted for the TT GMTII because I own one myself. Mine is an older model with a Jubilee bracelet, which I bought 10 years ago.

I asked "Uncle Al" before about the prices of Rolexes in Saudi, but he said he had never bought one in the Kingdom so he couldn't provide me w/the info. Did you buy yours (Rolexes) in Saudi or overseas? If former, how were the prices in Saudi in comparison to the USA or the UK or Australia?

Has the city of Jubail ever been completed? The project to build that city was halted back in 1985 because the drop in oil prices, even though the city itself was 80%built and billions of dollars spent. That was the last I've heard of it. Just curious.

Of the 3, it has to be the SS Sub

. Its a classic and IMO the most recognizable rolex in its sports model line. Try the SD as well cos you may actually like it.

I agree, although the GMT is starting to grow on me. The Sea Dweller is a true beauty as well and I look forward to owning one in the near future

Hi,

I voted for the Explorer.

I have an SS Sub and picked up my new GMT TT 50th this morning.

I have made the bracelet adjustments and it is perfect.

Hello,

The Prices here are consistant with what you would find in ant Rolex AD. I got the TT 50th Anv GMT II for around USD 8,500, USD 5,000 for the other two,

Mohdbak, just get the Exp II, without a turnable bezel like subs have, in SA with so much dust it will stuck and wont turn, I had the same problem here in Rhodes, and we dont have as much sand as you there.

Hi. I voted for the GMT II because it offers pretty much all of the functions of both the Sub and Explorer II, but I'd prefer the SS version (sportier). Other than that the Sub is a close second - and maybe first, depending on how I'm feeling at the time. I think it would be cool if Rolex offered an optional Sub bezel that could be fitted on the GMT II.
