yes rolex did make usa made band for bout 20 years, it had something to do with import duties to the usa, it was cheaper for rolex to make them in the usa, this loks like a usa made band to me they had oval shaped links rather than d links of folded links in even earlier models

Yes it is authentic, for a few years rolex did make bracelets in the USA.
