Is it safe to wear my Rolex............

Is it safe to wear my Rolex............

If you have any doubt as to where you are going leave the Rolex at home and wear your Timex, no one would steal a Timex. Now quit with the threads about wearing your Rolex.

If it's a vintage Timex you may want to re-consider.

I go with both wrists having watches, so I can show it either way

Who's gonna suggest wearing a timex on their ankle? Certainly not me. Not gonna go there. No, No, No.

Now let's all go on over and see the latest destruction happening in one of our 'watches for teens' posts of the day, shall we?

Medtech, only if you first shave off the crown from the bracelet. Judging some of the polishing jobs I've seen, should not be too hard to do for some.

Mike - If you post that question I will seriously buy you a beer if you ever come to Seattle. What's more, I would be honored to post the first reply.

Stupid for you maybe Jan, but for other's, it's a learning curve....

Now I'm always up for a bit of fun on the boards, but post like this don't help the cause of unifying the members in a common goal. That is to learn about watches!!

Sure, there are odd questions posted all the time, but remember, we were all a novice at some point in our lives!!

My suggestion is, steer clear of these "stupid questions" threads and don't post on them.
This way, the arguments and poor social dilemmas will be reduced, and overall beneficial to the forum as whole.

It's never safe to wear a Timex, not even on rubber.

Speaking of Timex & Rolex.......I went over to see my blonde girlfriend today, she got 2 dogs, German shepherds....I asked her what she named them, she said Rolex & Timex...I asked why, they're odd names????? She said they were watchdogs.
