I noticed that Mayors in Aventura Mall has a green Sub in stock if anyone is looking for one.

No discount though - the old lady who helped me got all annoyed when I told her I didn't buy without a discount. :)

I had a similar experience when checking out a GMTIIC there a few weeks ago... when I said the word "discount" the guy just gave me a stunned look...

no go for sure...

I still see the old LV's from time to time, and there are probably some in AD's safes waiting for the right customer that will pay MSRP. They are not rare and and floating around new in many stores.

To be honest, all the hype on them being discontinued is from guys like us on the internet. All the average Joe's off the street are buying up the new Subs when they can.

So I hadn't originally intended for this to be a "hate on Mayors" thread, but why not? :)

The old lady who waited on me was hilarious. I was pointing into the case asking if I could see "the green sub", and she responded that they didn't have one. We went back and forth before she finally followed my finger which was pointing directly to it through the glass.

At one point I mentioned I had a GMT-IIc and that the lugs on the Sub were bigger. She responded by calling the lugs "horns" and then arguing that they are the same size. She floated the hypothesis that the lighter green color made the "horns" look bigger, but they were not. (hahahaha)

I casually mentioned that I wish I didn't have to wait for my AD to get one since he gives me a discount. This set her OFF. She went on to say that "Rolex is closing down ADs left and right", that there are only 3 now in Miami (hahahahaha) and that I will -NEVER- get a discount on the green.

You can't argue with crazy (at least not if you care about winning) so I thanked her and left.

I delt with a young lady named Tamara from mayors in flordia. Couldn't of had a better experience.

I visited Mayors in Tampa Fl at International Plaza .. I was looking a rose gold daytona .. I was offered a discount .. I didn't buy however

Mayors Boca...well, the only time I hear the word discount is when I am not ready to buy. My wife and sister bought two at one time. Got 20 mos no interest at full msrp. Last time there to look, sales girl was nice, knowledgeable and easy on the eyes. But alas, Mayors is hard on the pocketbook.

its a stunner! funny that no one will even give you $100 off. They had 2 green subs in south coast plaza mall the day I was there.

Mayors Boca for mr as well. I got my Sub C there recently.
