For the ladies on the forum do u get offended when a brand makes women's watches in quartz but yet makes all the men's watches mechanical. While I'm no supporter of women's rights I believe that's a bit messed up to think are inferior in there ability to understand mechanics hell most fan's of high end watchs don't know much q out mechanics but like quality, craftsmanship, engineering, histroy and technology. Something I presume women would appreciate as well or do wo
En just like shine things.

Thanks for the respond guys/gals good info to learn.

My ex girlfriend hated it. I didn't even have my Rolex then!

However, I did end up buying her a Baby-G and a Titanium Citizen.

I dont get pissed or take drugs so she's happy. She once moaned about the watches but that was only the one time... told her I didn't expect her to understand

Our finances are separate, so it really doesn't matter. But I make sure that I buy her some very nice baubles. It's an investment in my happiness as well as hers.

One of my hobbies is ham radio. She did draw the line at putting an antenna on her car.

When I first read this I was like... "what?! pissed at her?".

Then I read where you were from and understood what you meant!

I wondered about that too (I don't get "mad" or take drugs was certainly a good thing, but somewhat of an odd combination)......then looked it up, based on your post, and saw it was slang for drunk..... (made much more sense then!!)

What significant other? LOL

My ex (5 months, 29 days and counting) didn't know what to think. "You have a watch, why would you need another?"

I am now free to do what ever I want! My goal is to have 4 total, 2 for each of my boys.

But she loves me and we're happy and that's the important thing.
Hey, we have something in common!! I used to make license plates!!!

Sounds familiar. Why settle for one of something when you could have 20? Then again, he is equally tolerant of MY stuff.

I did the smart thing, got her involved. She has several vintage Bulovas and I gave her a TT DJ as a wedding present so she basically leaves me alone.
