Waffling

In advance- thanks for listening:
I brought this up once before. I am deciding in the next day between a DDIIWG and a DDII Platy. I am leaning towards the WG. I am able to swing the $ on the Platty but not feeling good about myself in wanting to spend that much. BTW, either will have a White Roman dial. Yes, I would have to specially order the Platty. Makes me wonder why I would go that way if they don’t even make a Platy with White Roman. Also seems funny, but I seem to be drawing a line about conspicuous consumption between two conspicuously expensive watches. Anyway, thoughts welcome.

Do you like the extra weight enough to get the platty?

Only you will know it's platinum...so no worries about folks wispering you are wearing platinum

I say the WG in case you want to sell it in the future...less people will be able to afford a platinum DDII as opposed to gold one. I have never tried on the WG or Plat version so I cannot comment on how it feels or looks in person but monetarily speaking I choose WG.

Go for the WG...why spend the extra cash if you don't have to? Not like you're specifically seeking the glacier blue dial that is only offered on the plat model.

White roman is my absolute favorite, btw!

If the Platinum is what you really want, thats the one you should get. Don't settle, get the one you really want.

I agree, get what you want because it will be very pricey to flip it

I've worn the Platinum for a while.. It gets very heavy.. That's fine in an office environment, but if you're out and active it's a workout...

Either is nice though...

Platty is an animal with a Duck Bill... A Platinum Day-Date is an altogether different animal.....
