need help deciding on next watch Jaeger vs Glashutte vs??

Well, I'm turning 35 and decided it's time for a grown up watch...no more omega and Rolex sports models...

Precious metal on leather...

Two that have caught my eye --

The Jaeger master calender

And the Glashutte panoreserve

I'm torn...

Any opinions/advice

I'm open to other suggestions as well..

Wow, tough call. I own a Glashutte sport Evo model and love it. JLC is one of 3 true watchmakers left in the world, meaning they make everything. GO purchases the base plate, mainspring and another component from an outside company, most likely JLC. GO makes everything else and assembles by hand. I went with the GO as my roots are in Germany so it has special meaning for me. JLC has better brand recognition and both are awesome timepieces. Wish I could be of more help but honestly, you won't do yourself a disservice selecting either one of these. Good luck and I (and others) will be interested in where this leads you.

Out of the 2 I'd go JLC. I really like GO over all, but the JLC wins this contest.

I'm not a big fan of either really, but out of the two I'd go with the JLC.

I'm much prefer JLC over GO, but be sure that you get a good discount, JLC don't hold their value very well.

I know when I saw the JLC it was all she wrote. However I wouldn't mind getting the GO at some point either.

Take alook at the JLC Master Moon as well when you get a chance.

For me, choice would be simple - JLC all the way. It`s the one of the prettiest watches all around, it`s quality and style are almost incomparable!
Not that GO is bad choice, it`s awesome, but between these two - I`l repeat JLC all the way!

i think i too would go with JLC. they have a very rich history and are one of the TRUE watch makers in the world. I remember hearing somewhere that they have made over 1300 movements?? can anyone confirm this?

either way great watch company

JLC between those two. I think there's too much "white space" on that GO. But I really do like some of their other watches though!

Amazing choices! It would be a tough choice for me but in the end I think I would go JLC. Have fun deciding and remember to post pics when you make your decision!

Neither of those would be my choice for a dressier watch. The dials are to cluttered for me.
