Goodbye Rolex, Hello Blancpain
I admit that over the last two years I've become disillusioned with Rolex and I speak as someone who's worn Rolex, more or less for 22 years. I've tried quite a lot to re-invigorate my love for the brand and in the last two years I have bought (and sold / traded)

Nice FF!
Sorry to hear that your passion for Rolex has faded but you chose a great watch!
I sometimes regret selling mine. Definately my favorite Blancpain. Congratulations and I hope it keeps you company for many years to come. |

That one looks perfect on you.

Love the Blancpain, fortunately I don't want to give up on Rolex for it. I'd sure like to try one of those on. I have the previous model.

Cheers everyone. I'll wear it to the London GTG. Hopefully I'll be able to turn up this time.

Awesome watch. I have been a fan of Blancpain for a while and there is a good chance one of their models will be my next purchase. I really like the look of their watches and the fact that they only make so many watches a year.

Looks great on you, I wish I had the wrist to pull it off.
Unfortunately it took me getting one and actually owning it before I realized and accepted the fact my wrist is too small to pull it off so now I am going to sell it and go back to a trusty Rolex as that is what works best for me...

Enjoy! |

Found this half-old thread and couldn't agree more...
Getting a Blancpain FF could cause the Rolex's collecting dust in the watchbox, the finish and craft in the Fifty Fathoms is amazing Here's mine |

The BP FF is a great looking watch, I have oftern wondered about getting one, but have never pulled the trigger.
And of course the lume is absolutely awesome. Like you after years of being a Rolex fan, I also moved away to other brands. Regards Tony
