How about a new Sub, an old Sub, and an even older Sub..

Nice pics. Is the newer one heavier because of the bracelet ?

I believe the increase in weight is mostly from the heavier clasp, thicker case, and heavier lugs. Bracelet links are actually thinner.

The increased weight is very evenly distributed. While the case is slightly thicker and the lugs a bit broader, the bracelet has solid links throughout (including the center links) whereas the 16610 has hollow (tubular) center links. The clasp is machined and is solid with a glide-lock mechanism in the underside of the top cover and a machined locking mechanism. The 16610 clasp is made from stamped sheet steel and is considerably lighter than the new style clasp.
