So I just dropped off my SS sub for service for the 1st time . I got the watch back in 2005.

I asked the watchmaker to replace the dial and he said it really didn't need it but I went throught with it anyways.

Anyways here's the question:
What would you have done ?
Would you guys have it replaced and have that complete "Looks like new" again feeling or would you guys have waited?

Ps : the bezel is the metal one Oh and its going to be about $100.

was the watch new when you purchased it in 2005?

So you wanted the dial, the bezel or the aluminum bezel ring replaced? Sounds like the aluminum bezel ring is what you wanted replaced and sounds like a reasonable price if it makes you happy.

Yeah its the alimunum black bezel only, you know the one part with the numbers on it (10,20,30... ) that rotates In one direction, yeah That part.

the dial? Oh the bezel. If it would make your sub look new then I would do it too!

Yes, $100 isn't much, so I'd have done it too.

Me too, get it looking brand new again IMO. Also as mentioned hopefully you can also keep the original one

If there wasn't anything wrong with the original insert, I would not have replaced it...

Still, it's your watch.............
